UNEXPECTED KISS

Eyes seek, eyes meet,

Glances ever so near.

Hearts beat, hearts pound,

Senses sharply awaken.

Smiles reach, smiles find

One another closer.

Hands stretch, hands feel

Interlocked warmth abounding.

Bodies touch, bodies embrace,

A friendly exchange shared.

Cheek soft, kiss unexpected,

Departure ever so quick.

LONELINESS

Loneliness is separation,
Distance between two friends.
As the dawn grows nearer,
The distance grows greater.

WEDNESDAY

Dawn approached
Friend traveled,
Suddenly found
Emptiness all around,
Inside and out.

SUNDAY

What's a smile?
    A smile
Is a cut in a golf ball,
    A slice in an orange,
A bite out of an apple,
          A pumpkin.
    A smile
    Is an expression
    Of joy, happiness,
    A moment of emotion,
        A grin.

        A smile

        Is

        You!

THURSDAY

When I closed my eyes
Your beautiful face appeared
As a reflection on a pond;
Your gold blonde hair
Gently floating in the breeze.

Your smile so warm
Voice so tender
As though trying to speak.

Suddenly, my eyes opened,
Reality hit me,
You were only a vision
In the middle of the day.

HAPPINESS

Happiness is
    Two persons
Worlds apart
    Coming together
Sharing moments
    Of friendship,
Communication,
     And laughter

ENCHANTING VOICE

Two, three months
       Have passed
Since I've put
       My hand to pen,
My thoughts to paper.
Your departure
       Has left me
       Empty.
